7 Minutes of Burpees

Just Kidding.  But last years CrossFit Open workout 1 was just that…7 min of burpees.  How many do you think you could get in 7 minutes?  Do you think you have the mental toughness to throw yourself down on the ground and pop back up for 7 straight minutes?  A lot of what we do doesn’t require the most skill, it requires that 6 inches between your ears to fight your  body’s desire to quit at all cost.  After your next workout ask yourself, did I get everything I possibly could out of that 7 minutes?  Could I have done more?  This is where growth takes place…not just physically, but mentally.  Every workout is a competition…and not with those surrounding you, its within yourself.  Tomorrow is a new day, how hard are you going to push yourself?

5 Power Cleans

15 Abmat Situps

30 Double Unders/60 Singles

 

Strength: 5 x 5 Front Squats
