What is CrossFit Kids?

CrossFit Kids is a physical activity program that is geared to get kids MOVING. It incorporates functional movements that involve exercises that are fundamental to all kids when they play-pulling, pushing, running, throwing, climbing, lifting and jumping. Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy-as they have FUN when they do it!  All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained and certified CrossFit Kids coaches.

What is the class structure?

The class structure across the age groups is generally the same.  Preschool and Kids classes include a warm-up, skill work, a workout, and an exercise-intensive game.   No two classes are the same, so kids never get bored and the novelty of each workout keeps them excited about participating.


Program Levels:

We offer two unique kids programs (loosely defined by age) that are specifically designed for the needs of the children participating.

CrossFit Preschool (ages 3-5)-This program really puts the fun in fitness, and is mainly focused on building body, space, and object awareness while MOVING!

CrossFit Kids (ages 7-13)-This program continues to present fitness in a fun manner, but takes the foundational movements further and focuses on perfecting form and adding intensity.



Both programs are run in rolling 6-week sessions throughout the year, but our doors are always open to new young athletes.  If a child missed the start of a session, they can enroll at any time-even mid or at the end of a current session.

CrossFit Preschoolis a one week day (rotates each session) a week from 10:15am-10:45am.

CrossFit Kids is Mondays/Wednesdays from 3:45pm-4:30pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 11:15am-11:45am
